Greco

From its name there can be no doubts as to the origins of this vine that is widespread in Campania, primarily in the provinces of Avellino and Benevento.  The Greco grape has quite small and compact bunches, of cylindrical-conical shape with a well-developed leaf.  The fruit is small, quite pruinose and spherical in shape.  The skin is thick and of a yellowy hue with brown coloured spots.  Optimal maturity is reached between the end of September and the beginning of October.  Greco produces a golden-yellow wine, high in acidity and intense floral scents.
